Ideal Boilers high efficiency range of commercial appliances have been specified for a major redevelopment at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket, the home of Darley Racing, one of the world’s largest breeding and racing companies.
Installed by Cambridge-based heating engineers Munro Building Services, three of Ideal’s Imax W wall mounted boilers were selected to provide heating to a brand new barn conversion, which will be used to support Darley Racing with laundry and storage facilities.
Ian Roberts, business development manager at Ideal Boilers, said: Increasingly, customers are demanding higher efficiencies and lower emissions from their heating plant. Ideal’s Imax W can offer both of these features in a compact, streamline package.
The Imax W wall hung boiler was specifically selected by project consultants The Rolph Partnership based on these characteristics. Not only does the appliance exceed legislation requirements, but its space saving design makes it perfect for plant rooms where space is at a premium.
Available in a range of outputs (45, 60 or 80kW), the Imax W is capable of being installed as a single unit or in simple modular formations for even bigger outputs. Manufactured in the UK to the most stringent European Standards governing safety and performance of commercial boilers, the appliance achieves up to 98% nett efficient (88.5% gross) non condensing and 108% nett (97.3% gross cv) at 30% load, fully condensing. Additionally, Imax achieves an industry topping low NOx classification of class 5.
